G.I. Joe mortar soldier Short Fuse is a very interesting figure.  Short Fuse made sparse appearances early on in the Marvel G.I. Joe comic but his character isn't really flushed out that fully.  If he ever made a cartoon appearance I don't remember it.

The figure is pretty plain and forgettable except for the clear visor which also came with Flash and Grand Slam.  Short Fuse does come with a back pack very similar to the one that came with Zap the bazooka solider.

Short Fuse shares the same head sculpt as Flash and Steeler.  There's not much to say about the action figure as he was never used that much in the other G.I. Joe properties an there were only a few updates to the figure and most of those were after the 2000's relaunch.  No love for Short Fuse?  Apparently Hasbro didn't have much.

Short fuse has the backpack as zap just with a slight color difference.

Short fuse is kind of an unremarkable character and figure that could have used some more appearances in the comics and cartoons.
