The Spectre is an interesting DC Comics character that has been around since the Golden Age of comics, although his depiction has varied wildly over the years. Originally, The Spectre was very limited in his power set. From reading his golden age of comics appearances he could basically fly and grow large. Other than that, like many golden age heroes, he was a police detective.
Over the years The Spectre evolved into an almost godlike being and is now portrayed as one of the most power beings in the DC Universe.
His action figure is equally odd. While his color scheme and overall look as changed very little since the golden age, it is a very simplistic look for an action figure- he is green and white with a cape. Not especially striking.
Also, for some reason, he has a beard. Most of The Spectre incarnations, especially the ones I am familiar with, did not have a beard so I find it strange that DC decided to put one on the only Spectre 3.75 inch figure I know of. In fact, I Googled The Spectre and found only one picture of him "maybe" with a beard. Apparently, and I had to really search to figure this out, this figure is meant to represent the Crispus Allen incarnation of The Spectre... again, an odd choice. But if you want a 3.75" Spectre action figure this is your only choice.
