Keene, MA: Cheshire County Fair: H.M. Dufur defeated G.W. Flagg 3 out of 5 falls in mixed styles.
09-29-1884: Philadelphia, PA: Club Theater: Matsada Sorakichi defeated Hamada Kirokichi in a mixed falls match. Sorakichi won the Catch-as-Catch-Can rules match and the two traded falls in Japanese style.
09-29-1887: Rochester, NY: The Casino: William Muldoon has been putting on another round of “Exhibition Shows” in various cities. In Rochester, NY the results of the exhibition matches were: Hughie Leonard defeated Michael Smith in one fall Catch-as-Catch-Can... Martin Muldoon (brother of William) defeated “Killen” in Greco-Roman... Matsada Sorakichi defeated “Matthews”... Matsada Sorakichi defeated Martin Muldoon.
