01-01-1927: Ira Dern wins the World lightweight title over Clarence Eklund in Columbus, OH.

01-18-1927: In Atlanta, GA: John Contos- Promoter: World Heavyweight champion Joe Stecher defeated Pete Sauer.

02-17-1927: In Atlanta, GA: World Heavyweight champion Joe Stecher defeated Jim Browning.

04-07-1927: In Atlanta, GA at the Municipal Auditorium: World Heavyweight champion Joe Stecher battled Jim Londos to a draw.

05-26-1927: In Atlanta, GA at the Municipal Auditorium: World Heavyweight champion Joe Stecher defeated Wladek Zbyszko.

08-25-1927: Promoter Al Haft awards the World lightweight title back to Clarence Eklund.

10-12-1927: At a boxing show in Burien, WA, Moose Norbeck (boxer) was pinned by George Barnes (brother of Ray Steele) in a three round boxer vs wrestler match.

10-14-1927: Basanta Singh defeated World Welterweight champion Jack Reynolds in Dayton, OH. Singh did not win the title due to missing weight by five pounds.
