03-04-1947: A big international tournament comes to a close at the London, England Harringay Arena. The tournament and title of “World champion” was won by Bert Assirati. Others in the tournament included: Gaston Choavaort, Jim Foy, Milo Popooalpolis, Carl Van Wurden, Karloff Manoognan, Izzy Van Dutz, Bert Mansfield, Abdul the Turk, Ivar Martinson, Karl Roginsky, Clem Lawrence, and Phill Siki.
