October 15, 1983 Southeastern Championship Wrestling Television Show Review

We continue our look at the NWA Southeastern Championship Wrestling promotion and television program from Dothan, Alabama television studio.  There isn't a lot of footage from 1982 and 1983 unfortunately.  What little does exist (like this clip) is incomplete and poor quality.

Bob Armstrong is cutting a promo on Mr. Olympia (Jerry Stubbs) and El Lobo (Rick Harris AKA- Black Bart).  While not identified in this clip, the masked man sitting beside Charlie Platt is Super Olympia (Arn Anderson).

We cut to the ring for a match:  Bob Armstrong verses Wayne Farris (AKA: Honky Tonk Man).  If someone said to you, "Honky Tonk Man was a member of the Midnight Express." and you laughed at them... well... you were wrong.  He was, along with Ron Starr at this point.

It's back and forth brawling until "Bullet" Bob throws him into a post.  But then, out comes fellow Midnight Express member Randy Rose who attacks Bob Armstrong.  Rose rolls him back in the ring and Wayne Farris gets the pin.  Scott & Brad Armstrong roll in for the save.

We then get a promo from the current version of the Midnight Express- Randy Rose & Ron Starr & Wayne Farris.

Follow up promo by Bob & Scott & Brad Armstrong.

That's where this clip ends.
