12-05-1860: Edras Gus Lambert is born. Lambert would be both a boxer and wrestler and held multiple wrestling titles during his life. He was born in St. Guillaume, Quebec, Canada but ultimately moved to New York.

1860 (Unspecified):  James H. McLaughlin joins the 26th New York Infantry and becomes the regiment’s wrestling champion.
