August 6, 1983 Southeastern Championship Wrestling Television Show Review

We continue our look at the NWA Southeastern Championship Wrestling promotion and television program from Dothan, Alabama television studio. There isn't a lot of footage from 1982 and 1983 unfortunately. What little does exist (like this clip) is incomplete and poor quality.
This clip is from the August 6, 1983 edition of NWA Southeastern wrestling and features a tremendous promo from The Flame (Jody Hamilton - AKA: The Assassin) and "Bullet" Bob Armstrong. Just an amazing heel promo. There are multiple loser leave town matches coming up at the arenas this coming week including one where the loser of a tag team match fall leaves town between The Flame & Bob Armstrong verses Jimmy Golden & Ron Fuller.
Bob Armstrong reveals that he is the new NWA Southeastern heavyweight champion and cuts and tremendous heel promo while we watch the video of he and The Flame attacking Ron Fuller following a steel cage match.
There is another video clip from the same show with another brief clip of Bob Armstrong & The Flame then we cut to Jimmy Golden & Ron Fuller at the desk who cut promos on the heels.
We go to the ring for a match: Bob Armstrong & The Flame verses Rick Gibson & Mike Jackson. Early match is Mike Jackson dodging Bob Armstrong. The Midnight Express are doing color commentary (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose & Norvell Austin). The tide turns when Mike Jackson misses a drop kick. Bob Armstrong wins with a knee drop.
That ends all the existing clips for this episode.
